We believe in doing things with your own two hands — painting the room, building the wall, thrifting the piece, upcycling the find, finishing the basement, making the mess, and learning as you go.

We believe style should be personal, not pretentious.

As public school teachers with 20+ years of experience, Sarah and Vince bring a teacher’s heart to the DIY design and décor world. We do not just want to inspire you. We want to show you how.

PGH DIY is rooted in Pittsburgh — in grit, creativity, family, hard work, old houses, steel-town soul, and the beauty of making something better than it was before. But you do not have to be from the Steel City to belong here.
